"We need to challenge the narrow-mindedness of times past."
Donna Murray-Turner
Donna Murray-Turner is the polar opposite of a bystander. She is involved.
Whether that’s through advising New Scotland Yard (she sits on four advisory forums), or running ANOS (Another Night of Sisterhood) the community group she founded, chairing the Trustee Board of a local school, or chairing Croydon’s Safer Neighbourhood Board – she is leading change at every level.
Donna has a degree in child development, and works with London’s City Hall on reducing violence against women and girls. She is currently researching community engagement and the role of place in public trust and confidence in the police
